How to draw pants – Allow contact to form!
Stage 1
The pants we will draw in this guide on how to draw pants will be jeans since they are one of the world’s most popular pants. We will take it from the above drawing of the pants opening. This part of the pants may seem quite simple, but some details must be considered. First, draw the center of the pants by drawing two thin rectangular shapes connected.
However, these shapes will have open spaces on their outer edges. Then, after leaving a very small gap, you can draw a long, skinny shape on each side. This will form the edge of the pants, and the small space will soon be filled with a belt loop. Finally, use rounded lines for the tops of the pockets, then draw a final line over the shapes you just drew for the back of the tops of the pants.
Step 2: Remove some elements for the pants section you just pulled.
We’ll build on what you drew in the previous section for drawing your pants in this next step. First, we’ll fill in the small gaps you left using curved lines to create the belt loops. Then, we’ll add the fly for the pants once that’s drawn.
This will be drawn with a few more curved lines to create the thin shape you see in our reference image. The last thing we’ll draw in this action will be a control for the shelter of the pant slot. You are then ready to move on to step 3 of the guide!
Step 3: Nowadays, trust the flanks of the pants.
In this third step of our how-to-draw pants guide, we’ll add a lot to the pants. For the most part, we’ll be focusing on the sides of the pants, and you can draw these sides of the pants using slightly jagged lines.
We’ll also extend some straight lines inside the pants, and these will work as crease lines for the pants. The bottom of the pant legs will be empty, but we’ll fill those gaps soon.
Step 4: Draw the rest of the outline of the pants.
You are now ready to complete the outline of the pants in this step of drawing your pants. We mentioned that you’d fill in the bottom of the pant legs in the last step, and that’s what we’ll do here.
You can finish these parts by drawing the last flat section of the pant legs. There will also be other fold lines drawn that extend into the pants. Then all you have to do is fill in the final details and touch-ups in the next step!
Step 5: Add the Final Touches to Your Pants Design
Before coloring your image, we first need to add details and finishing touches in this step of our how-to-draw pants guide. These details will be small but effective in making these pants more realistic. The final touch will be to add a few more fold lines along the length of the pants. You can add more creases to give the pants a more worn-in look! Before moving on to the final step, you can add details and elements. You can draw someone wearing the pants, create a background, or even change the details to make it a different pants style!
